Late May Fishing

Late May has brought some great fishing. I was out most of the weekend with charters and we found some nice sized fish each day. In the morning, the fish have been feeding on pods of silversides. Once we found the fish, we stayed in the area and they would pop up for a quick blitz on the surface and then would be down. We would stay in the area and reliably they would pop up again nearby. As more boats moved in they became increasingly spooky, but being patient always paid off. Most of the fish were in the 26-34” range. Book your charter today!

The Fish Are Here

The fish have finally arrived. Despite the fog, the fishing was great this past weekend. I was on the water on Friday and Saturday and there were plentiful fish to be caught and most of them in the keeper size range. It is great to finall the stripers busting herring on the surface. The fish were gourging themselves on herring that was being pushed out of the rivers. They were spitting out nice sized herring as they got close to the boat. Book your charter today for some great spring fishing.
